Founded in 2017, WIMBI is a family-owned business that was started with a passion for providing quality boards for the surf and skate community. Reed Burr grew up shaping boards in East Africa with his family. Both having grown up as missionary kids in East Africa, Reed and Priscilla Burr met at a young age and eventually got married in Kenya. When he moved to the United States, Reed kicked around the idea of starting a surf and skate company for many years. With a desire to help others, Priscilla encouraged Reed to start a company where he could do what he loves while investing in others.

Reed is super passionate about riding the boards he shapes. His favorite board is the Oldschool Ripper. He enjoys being outside in nature and cannot stand mosquitos in his workshop.
PRISCILLA BURR

This chick is an avid sports fan. She rides goofy and enjoys boarding in Downtown Lakeland. Her favorite board to ride is the Kanga Strip Cruiser. She’s learning how to ollie and she also makes some sick shirts.

Moral Support Specialist
Sabah the shop dog loves to hang out when the team is working on products. Her favorite things to do include chasing squirrels and trying to climb trees. She is an upcoming grom in the wsl k9 division.
